Help us fund research to save lives!
Right now, the lives of over three milion people in the UK are threatened by chronic kidney disease. Kidney Research UK needs your help to fund more research into better prevention, treatments and ultimately a cure. Kidney Research UK can only fund life saving research with your help.
Diabetes UK Scotland
There are 247,248 people in Scotland with diabetes and tens of thousands more who have the condition but don’t yet know it. While possible to deal with, diabetes is deadly to ignore, and can lead to heart disease, stoke, kidney disease and blindness. Our mission is to improve the lives of people living with diabetes and to work towards a future without the condition. Diabetes UK Scotland is dedicated to putting the interests of people with first by providing research, campaigning and support.
We provide support and information for all people with diabetes, their families and careers. We campaign in parliament, and work with healthcare professionals to ensure that people with diabetes receive the best standards of care. We also fund a resarch programme addressing today’s needs and tomorrow’s cure. Please get in touch with the Scotland office to find out more about running for Diabetes UK and helping the 247,248 people in Scotland who live with diabetes every day.
How we help our heroes
Our mission is to deliver an endurign national network of support for our wounded and their families. We will inspire and enable those who have made sacrifices on our behalf to achieve their full potential.
The wars in Afghanistan and Iraq may be nearly over, but for those who have suffered life-changing injuries, their battles are just beginning. We will not let them fight these battles alone.
